Terms & Conditions

The rules for using JDrive. Written to be readable, not buried in legal jargon. If anything below is unclear, contact us before you sign up.

Last updated: 21 May 2026

1. Account registration and responsibility

You must provide accurate information (name, email, contact) when registering for a JDrive account. One account per person.

You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Keep your password and any second-factor codes private; do not share them.

If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password immediately and contact support.

2. Email verification and authentication

New accounts must verify their email address before storing files. Verification links are time-limited.

Two-factor authentication (authenticator app or email OTP) is recommended for all accounts and required for admin actions.

JDrive will never ask for your password, OTP, or recovery codes by email, phone, or chat.

3. Plans, billing, and free trial

JDrive offers a free starter plan with limited storage, a free trial of the paid features, and paid monthly or yearly plans. The features and limits of each plan are shown on the pricing page and inside your account settings.

The free trial gives you full access to the trial package limits for the trial duration (for example, 60 days). At the end of the trial, you remain logged in but uploads beyond the free plan limits may be blocked until you upgrade.

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period; any storage that exceeds the lower plan limit must be removed before further uploads are accepted.

Prices may change with at least 14 days notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

4. Storage and upload limits

Each plan has a total storage limit (in bytes) and a per-file maximum size (in megabytes). These limits are enforced by the backend on every upload.

JDrive supports common file types including images, video, PDFs, Office documents, and archives. Files outside this allow-list will be rejected.

If you exceed your plan limits, new uploads will be blocked until you free up space or upgrade. Existing files remain accessible.

5. Acceptable use and prohibited content

You may not upload, share, or distribute content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, contains malware, or is intended to harass, defraud, or harm others.

JDrive may suspend accounts and remove content that violates these rules, with notice where reasonably possible.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and share every file you upload, including any personal data of others.

6. File ownership and responsibility

You retain ownership of the files you upload. JDrive stores them on your behalf so we can deliver the service (storage, preview, sharing).

JDrive does not sell your files, share them with third parties, or use them to train machine-learning models.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important files. JDrive operates on best-effort durability but does not replace a backup strategy.

7. Sharing rules

Shared links and team invites are only as private as you make them. Only share files with people you trust.

Shared content remains subject to these Terms; recipients must also comply.

You can revoke access to a shared file or folder at any time from your dashboard.

8. Payments and verification

Paid plans are charged through the payment methods listed at checkout. Receipts are stored in your billing area.

If manual verification is required (for example, bank transfer with proof of payment), your access to paid features begins once verification is complete.

Failed payments may pause your subscription. We will email you before any access restrictions apply.

9. Refund policy

The free plan and free trial are free of charge; nothing is billed during the trial.

For paid subscriptions, you may request a refund within 7 days of the initial charge if you have not used a substantial portion of the plan resources.

Refund decisions are made at our discretion and based on usage. To request a refund, contact support with your account email.

10. Service availability

We aim for high availability and continuous improvement, but JDrive is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where reasonably possible.

JDrive is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Account suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, attempt to compromise the platform, or remain inactive for an extended period.

You may close your account at any time from settings. Closure begins a grace window during which you can restore the account; after that window, your data is permanently deleted.

12. Privacy and security

JDrive encrypts files in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest in storage.

We collect only the personal information needed to operate the service (name, email, phone if provided, billing details, and operational logs).

See the Privacy section above and contact support for any data-access or deletion requests.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes.

Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Your continued use of JDrive after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Contact and support

For questions about these Terms or your account, reach us via WhatsApp at +92 306 8440929 or through the contact channel in the footer.

Support response times depend on your plan; paid plans receive priority during business hours.

These Terms are written in plain English and are not a substitute for legal advice. For account or billing questions, please contact us.
